The Miken Super Freak Maxload is hands down the new #1 bat in all of slowpitch softball. The Super Freak hits the hardest, fastest and furthest balls of any bat that I have ever tested since the Miken Ultra 2 and I personally like the feel of the Super Freak over the Ultra 2 because I prefer the feel of an end loaded bat. The Miken Super Freak is pushing the legal limit in softball and it is right at the 1.20 BPF limit. Reviewed by Anthony Kelly.

I bought your Miken Super Freak maxload & all I can say is WOW! I have hit 2 home runs over the past 15 years of playing ball. Last night was the first night of our season...1st up to bat & over the right field fence! Couple more good hits that game... but then the 2nd game last night...straight over center field fence on my 2nd up to bat! TWO home runs in one night!!! That was fun & unbelievable! To everyone at Kellys Ultimate Sports, I recently ordered a Miken SuperFreak Maxload and I just wanted to say I love it. The bat break in service worked wonders on it. I took it out of the wrapper this weekend in approximately 50 degree weather and it performed superbly. I have never been a home run hitter in slowpitch softball, but my very first swing with it was a half swing trying to hit a dirty drooper and bounced it off the top of the fence. From that point on, fell in love with the bat. The rest of the day I was hitting missiles through the infield and off the fence. This is the best performing bat I have ever swung. I used to be a two-piece bat person, but this Miken has changed that opinion. I will never own anything else again. Thanks for the great service and the bat shipped exactly when I thought it would. I recently bought the Miken Super Freak Maxload. Wow, that bat is a beast. Out of the wrapper it hits very solid. I have the tendency to miss a few balls off the handle due to my proximity to the plate. Balls of the handle usually end up as a short 290ft fly out. Not any more, the balls I hit correctly are WAY gone and even some of the ones I miss off the handle are finding their way over the fence. My average has risen due to this bat helping me get distance on a miss hit. BTW, when the HR™s are gone, I rock the 5-6 hole like a champ balls get thru the hole with the quickness. Awesome bat! Thinking about getting the 98 for A SA games

I love your Miken Super Freak. The first 10 swings out of the wrapper, 7 were homeruns!!! The bat is insane! It's the best b at ever made. Better or maybe equal to the Ultra 2. I have the Jeff Hall Mutant, Combat Virus Plague, and Freak Plus in my bag. Not a bad variety of USSSA bats to have, right? None of the these compare to the Super Freak. Compared to the Super Freak, the others hit like ASA bats in comparison. I like my Jeff Hall Mutant, but the Super Freak hits the ball about 40 feet further and harder. I really think that the Super Freak is an endloaded Ultra 2 with different artwork!!! I've always been a Miken fan and you guys did a great job teaming with them to make this bat! I can't wait to see what you guys come up with next!

Hey this is Dustin from Arkansas. I recently ordered the super freak and was amazed by it. We have a D3 coed team and none of us are hardcore players. We had our first practice of the spring this weekend and thats when the bat came out of the wrapper. None of us had so much as picked up a bat since the end of the fall season and 5 out of 6 of the guys at practice hit at least one ball out of a 300' field. Last season there was only one ball hit out during the whole season and it was during practice. We got tired of jumpin the fence and chasin balls down this weekend. Just a quick note about the bat. I have been in search of the hottest bat in USSSA for a few years and this has been the best bat I have ever swung. Perfect flex, endload and a huge sweet spot. It had become almost a HR on command bat, although it could also power a line shot through the infield when needed. I wouldnt swing any other bat.

i just wanted to tell you that my friend bought one of ur super freaks and i got to swing it for the first time thi s past saturday in a tournyment we played in. we played 4 games and i hit a total of 9 homeruns. the balls were just jumping off the bat. he had just pulled it out of the wrapper just before he got to the complex. the fields were 330 on the corners and 340 to center field. and the only adjustm ent he made to the bat was to take the handle off and put tape on it.

I swung one before we went to Vegas and swore it was a factory shaved bat! It absolutely was smoking the ball... It feels like a OG Freak that is well broke in. Did not like the Freak LE as much as the OG and the FP.

Update - Used it in a 250 tourney this weekend. It's got lots of pop. Team quickly saw it had some serious pop and started using it. They had a Jeff Hall Titan, Two Boogers, Miken 585, 2 Miken Freak +, Miken Freak Limited, SCN9, and Syn 2 to choose from. Sound off the bat is totally different. Almost ultra like. Can't explain it. Great bat though. I'd buy another.

We will break in your bat by hitting 100 softballs that are pitched from a pitching machine. The balls will be pitched at regular slo pitch speed with an arc of 6 TO 8 ft. We will rotate the bat so the entire barrel breaks in evenly. The Factory shrink wrap paper will be left on the bat during the break in process. This will not void your warranty like rolling your bat in a machine would. For Slow Pitch and Fastpitch Softball Bats the Softball used will be a 12 inch Dudley Thunder 44 core 400 compression.
